The GAS 8-9-10 P/M burner series are available in three model structures with an output range from 640 to 4.885 kW. The P/M series is characterised by progressive two stage operation as standard or full modulation performance, with a turn down ratio of 4 : 1, by addition of an advanced modulating control system (PID). The versatility of this range makes the burner well suited for use on commercial or industrial applications where the load factor is subject to wide variations over a short period of time. All models are available in standard or long head versions, making them suitable for diverse applications. The GAS 10 P/M and some version of the GAS 9 P/M are provided with star delta start up. Gas trains are sized to suit the specific requirements of each installation (see instructions data enclosed). Simplified maintenance is achieved by the Riello designed slide bar system, which allows easy access to all of the essential components at the combustion head. The control and safety devices are grouped in a console mounted at the rear of the burner. A removable cover gives access, as well as protection and the lay-out of the components and wiring terminal strip simplifies maintenance checks. Electrical protection is to IP40; the burners are designed and tested to conform to European normative EN 676 and DIN 4788.
